The crew that shows up at your door in Tampa isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. It’s a tight group of local techs who know the difference between a capacitor failing in Ybor City versus one dying in Carrollwood, because Florida heat and salt air don’t treat every neighborhood the same. We’ve been at this in Tampa since 2004, and the people who work here live here. They shop at the same Publix, sit in the same Dale Mabry traffic, and understand exactly what it feels like when your AC dies on a Tuesday in August. That’s not a marketing line. That’s who we are.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. | Lead Service Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on residential HVAC systems for over sixteen years, the last nine of them with our Tampa team. He holds EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling and specializes in diagnosing intermittent electrical faults, the kind that make a system work fine when a tech arrives and fail the moment they leave. Carrier, Trane, Goodman, Rheem, and Lennox units all show up in his service history week to week. When he’s not running calls, Marcus is restoring a 1968 Ford pickup in his garage in Seminole Heights. He says working on old trucks taught him patience, which is exactly what a good diagnostic tech needs when a control board is doing something no wiring diagram predicts.
Elena R. | Senior Install Technician
Elena leads our installation crew and has overseen more than 1,400 system replacements across the Tampa Bay area since joining Halden in 2015. She’s factory-trained on Trane and American Standard equipment and holds advanced certification in heat pump installation and commissioning. Elena handles the hard jobs: tight attics in bungalows near the river, rooftop units on commercial strips along Hillsborough Avenue, and full ductwork replacements when a poorly designed existing system is the root cause of uneven cooling. She grew up in the Tampa area and knows the neighborhood street grids well enough that she rarely needs GPS north of Kennedy Boulevard. On weekends, Elena fishes off the Skyway with her two sons.
Denise W. | Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice on the phone when you call Halden Heating and Air Tampa, and she’s usually the reason a repair happens the same day instead of the next. She’s been with the company since 2018 and handles dispatch, scheduling, and the live arrival tracking that lets you watch your tech’s van move toward your house. Denise knows every technician’s current job, travel time, and skill set, so when you call with a dead AC in July, she can tell you honestly who can get there first and roughly when. She also processes the written guarantees and coordinates free return visits if a repair doesn’t hold. Denise lives in West Tampa and is the type of person who remembers your dog’s name from a service call three years ago.
Jordan P. | Apprentice Technician
Jordan joined us two years ago and is training under Marcus and Elena to become a full service technician. He’s already passed his EPA certification and completed the manufacturer’s training course for Daikin and York equipment. Jordan rides along on service calls and helps with installation work, learning the trade the same way Marcus did: by seeing real systems in real Tampa homes, not just diagrams in a classroom. He grew up in Brandon and spent four years in the Marine Corps before entering the trades. Jordan handles the parts runs, the attic work, and the duct-sealing jobs that his mentors assign him. He’s known for showing up on time, which around here is both rare and appreciated.
One Standard, Every Job
The reason we put our names on this page is simple: when you book with Halden Heating and Air Tampa, you should know who’s coming through your door. Andre Fuller, the owner, set the expectation back in 2004: write the price before any work starts, back every repair with a written guarantee, and answer the phone with a live person every time. None of that works without a crew that actually follows through. Every technician here carries the same standard, which is part of what the Relay Home Co. network calls The Relay Standard, and it’s reinforced by The Relay Visibility Guarantee: you see your tech coming, you know the price before the work starts, and you get a written promise on every repair. If a repair fails within the coverage window, a second visit is free, no arguing required. That’s not an add-on. That’s just the job. And this team is the one doing it in Tampa.
